About Bright Star Gemstones

My photo
Bright Star
Bright Star Gemstones owes it's roots to several exotic lands. In Brazil, the state of Minas Gerais (pronounced Me-nas Ger-rice) is appropriately named: the English translation is General Mines. Mining, gemstones and minerals are a way of life for many families. From one generation to the next the next, year after year, the knowledge becomes a family tradition. Over time, it became almost natural to expand the contacts in the mining community and the results have not been disappointing with many exciting finds! From Russia (with love) comes the unique cabochons of Astrophyllite, Eudialyte and Pyrite Ammonite. A new discovery of Spessartite Garnets from China have been left in the natural condition for either jewelers or mineral collectors. Mystical Africa has yielded the splendidly colored Pietersite. While closer to home, Garnets from Alaska and cute little Pyrite cubes in Schist are guaranteed to be one-of-a-kind hits.
